Inspired by African and Middle Eastern ornamentation, PICHULIK creates statement pieces for bold and courageous women. The South African accessories house is a Vogue regular and featured among its ten African brands to watch. Inspired by her travels, books she has read, people she has met, as well as patterns, shapes and palettes she has seen, Katherine-Mary Pichulik creates neckpieces and accessories for brazen women. Her PICHULIK label is committed to turning this inspiration into bespoke, wearable pieces that re-conceptualize the tribal, African aesthetic.
PICHULIK is a bespoke range of accessories, handcrafted on the southern shores of Africa in Cape Town, inspired by African and Middle Eastern ornamentation, and the stories of brave women. PICHULIK transforms rope by combining woven materials with Ghanaian agate stones, fossilized forms from Niger, West African brass parts and Ethiopian recycled glass for truly unique statement pieces.
