Beautiful beaded head of the Bamileke tribe. This is a formidable piece made of clay and covered all over with beads.

Made by the peoples of Cameroon and often crafted to represent notable people. Historically the glass beads were imported from Venice and these are pressed into the still wet and moulded terracotta, with each piece being a decorative display of the artisans whimsical flair when applying these small beads to the moulded heads.

This reproduction are handcrafted by local artisans in Cameroon.
