Traditionally, a sign of social status and rank within the Bamileke community, men within kingdoms of the Grassfields possess a beaded palm wine calabash vessel. The vessels are used to store and pour palm-wine during important rituals that safeguard the wellbeing of the family, community and kingdom. This beautiful handcrafted beaded vessel makes for a beautiful decorative accessory. Our modern reproduction is made in Cameroon by skilled artisans from the West region.
